Cards Love Ink

The Art With Heart Team are back with another Creative Showcase, this time featuring different colouring techniques.The Stampin’ Up! range contains a bevy of functional and effective colouring tools.   Enjoy the amazing projects our team members have to share with you demonstrating these products.   This card was made using the "Prized Peony" Bundle.  I coloured the peony in with the Petal Pink light & Dark blends and Old olive light and dark blends. The Card base is Petal pink and a layer of Basic Grey. and then a layer of Peony Garden Designer Series Paper. Welcome to the Monthly Art With Heart Creative Showcase. This month the Art With Heart Team have amazing projects to share with you that have been inspired by the card sketch below. The sketch is to be used as a starting point and has been interpreted in many creative ways by the Art With Heart Team. This is my card i made using the sketch above:   To make this card i used the "Timeless tropical" stamp set. The Base card is Grapefruit grove. The middle Card stock is Mango melody. I then layered a piece of "Tropical Oasis" DSP.  The ink used for the sentiment is Grapefruit Grove.  I then stamped the flowers with Real red stamped off.  The next demonstrator to share her interpretation of the sketch is the fabulous Tina Gillespie. Under the current conditions Mother’s Day this year is going to be completely different to any other Mother’s Day celebrations. The Art With Heart Team are hoping to share a little Mother’s Day love and inspiration with you tonight. To make This months card I used the beautiful “Parisian Blossoms Speciality’’ DSP. As there was copper in the paper I thought it would stand out on copper foil. This month the Art With Heart Team are featuring Monochromatic cards, that is cards that only use different shades of the same colour. This is a great opportunity for us to demonstrate the wonderful range of Stampin’ Up! colours across our inks, papers and embellishments that can be combined to produce the amazing monochromatic samples we have to share with you.  The card i made this month using the “everything amazing” stamp set and I used the lovely “Blackberry Bliss” ink and cardstock.
